REST AREA AHEAD

     I think its time for us to take a little break, you are probably tired of my going on and on about Adam anyway! I just want to give you a taste of what will be in store for those of us that stay on the path because once I'm done with Adam , the Church,and of course we cannot leave out the Cross I will dwell where all Christians want to be in the beauty of Jesus Christ, that is the place for us!! Lets start with the word philosophy, many ,thumpers don't like that word , but it simply means the study of knowledge in a systematic way or an apologetic [reason out] manner. So to jump right into it. My goal here is to help  I hope for us to understand the knowledge of our Identification. We all Christians by means of the Cross and our faith are there [ IN CHRIST] in the eyes of God. But as for me and maybe many other Christians there is a confusion as to what this means. This is where we get Philosophical [ remember that does not mean its not truth ,are real as applied to our lives] . The man Adam, us, all humans, has been judicially terminated at the Cross by the self sacrifice of Christ,that means we, in our human nature, [ remember flesh cannot inhearat the kindom of God] are dead in the eyes of God. The Bible clearly states that His death was a co death as before God we are, as the sinful Adam, are gone"I have been crucified [Paul referring to himself and all of us] and it is NO LONGER I [Adam] that live, but Christ lives in me: and the life I NOW live in the flesh[Adam us human nature] I live by Faith, Gal,2:20. Faith in what? That the life we now live is found in Christ. This concept of co- death co-burial co- Resurrection carry's forward and to us in the eye's of God . Us the individual-remains alive , the same man, but we are now seen only in the eye's of God, as His Son , who has now gone Into Heaven as our representative , and in fact in Him [THE Son] is the only way God in His perfection and perfect justice can see are fellowship with us here , still encased in the human element and sin body of Adam. There is much more to it , and I will try and explain it as best I can in future blogs. But heres the promise folks right from Gods word . " we are here[on this earth] as He is in Heaven". These true philosophical concepts are found and lived ONLY in the mind by Faith after much study and contemplation ,"the renewing of the mind " found in the Bible.The end is Christ becomes your life. Then all that you do [works], and experience will take on a new dimension , for we will realize we or indeed new creatures with a new nature found in Him, that of the Creator of the world the savior of all creatures and the name above every name Jesus Christ. Please stay with me the concepts are hard but the reward is great.........

Look out.......Here comes THE LAW

             I know people I said , at the conclusion of my last blog that we were going to get to the good stuff next , and it is soon coming , believe me that's where Id rather be too. Enough of this Adam guy ,he reminds me too much of me.........But first we must deal with the result of Adams [us] embrace of sin and death by turning his own way and not any longer trusting God for his ALL. And High upon the list of what Adam must face is THE LAW[think ten commandments] " for by the law is the knowledge of sin Rom. 3:20 The Bible says no man is justified by the law in the sight of God but ONLY by faith. Here's the thing boys and girls we all, because we do now, and will always be[as long as we are in this flesh body]here on this earth, be stuck in the Adam mode. And one of the main propensities of that particular race [us, Adam] is we look to find a way to be justified both for our sin behaviour as well as our being forgiven for it. The answer for most of us is found in trying to obey the LAW. Yes the law is from God its holy and good , so why would we not follow it, short answer , because we can't!!. Come on now we all know that!! So why in the world did God give it? Why, among many reasons, because he wanted to show His people [the Jews, and us] a set way to know Him and be aware of their need for Him But manly the result of the LAW was to show us Adams, that as the Bible says....;'for the mind set on the Flesh [us Adams our human nature right now in us] is hostile toward God; FOR it [our human minds] does not SUBJECT itself to THE LAW of God for it is NOT ABLE to do so" Rom. 8:6,7. God help us, what a mess we find ourselves in.  I am going to stop here pounding you with the negative. Well maybe a little more we'll see?  All this explanation of who we are and the problem we face is in order to help you understand that our dilemma [death ,sin lack of spiritual strength and power,etc. etc.] Is due to us living our lives ,[ in our conscious mind] , in the old man Adam! And here is the real bummer he , this old man, will always be with us here on the earth. But there is GREAT hope and a way out of the pain and suffering brought about by this worldly experience . The answer in detail, is soon coming ,THE NEW MAN, The second Adam, Jesus Christ. But before that we will need to look at what we, 'The church body," have done over the years to deal with old Adam and his nature. This will not be fun, but necessary. Please hang in there with me , it get a lot better I promise!!

The beginning of the end

Sorry folks its not quite over for our old man Adam, I thought that I had said enough and maybe have  but to be sure we understand who were dealing with is really us, I felt it was important to , as I was forced to do finally , embrace my Adam hood. Therefor before we go on to the New Adam lets take a quick look at the final authority, which we can , I hope, all agree on the Bible, the inspired word of God. Regarding Adam we find Rom. 5:12"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin[loss of eternal life with God]and so death passed upon ALL men.Ps 51:5" in sin did my mother conceive me" and "" in Adam , we were declared to be dead in trespasses and sins, because in Adam ALL die" Eph. 2:1 1 Cor. 15:22" for in Adam we all die ".Then you have  " The natural man [Adams human race us] does not receive the things of the spirit  for they are foolishness to him , neither can he know them" 1 Cor, 2:14. Don't want to belabor the point here friends bare with me . just a Little longer! Lets look at Romans 8:8 " so those who are in the flesh[natural man, Adam, humans, us] CANNOT please God. Lastly guess who among us counted himself among the Adam natured , why none other then perhaps the greatest of the apostles a man to whom who was reveled  most all we now have of the Christian life. A man who was in the personal reveled presence of the Resurrected Jesus and also was taken to heaven itself and returned to write the very words inspired by the living God, so that we could by informed as to just who we are, both in Christ and Adam none other than Paul and he said referring to himself "I am carnal [flesh, Adam natured] sold under sin," Rom. 7:14.................Well if the above is all true what chance do we have? Well it turns out by a little investigation we will find our Chances as Christians are very good indeed! But first we must deal with a sticky question which I have been ranting about for two blogs now and the Biblicals true truth teaches us . We all live and carry out are lives , as long as we remain in these Adam body's in the very condition described above even as Christians. Jesus did not Die to improve our human nature . We have the same nature as Adam and all men including Hitler and Charles Manson Oh yes they were evil alright, we are not in the same way, but they , as us occupied the same Human Nature. This takes us to the point. Our Christians lives are not to be lived in the Old Nature and a way has been provided to live another way in a new Nature. We will not find it in our human works , church attendance , Bible studies , traditions, Church authority are feelings, etc. etc. for all these things while seen as good things are not going to help in finding our way to the Nature provided for us all , even if we don't know it, in Heaven, by none other than the New Adam , the second Man in whom is the only nature that we can find ourselves which will please God. In the next instalment we will look at discovering the life changing new adopted family we have all been brought into as Christians and we will learn , how to realize it despite our location in this body of Adam.

Wherever I Looked there he was

Hello friends, Here you will find my second attempt to carry you along the road I  traveled, and tell you about a man I found  along the way that reminded me of my self . His Name was Adam. Just to help you to understand what and where I'm going with this blog adventure, Ill tell you what I am not, a Bible thumper nut, a religious zealot a member of a cult or trying to sway you into a Christian world view of my road to Damascus experience. I am simple sharing out of love a great joy I have found, with my friends..........Someone once said  " The inadequacy of the answer we receive is a direct consequence of the limitations implicit in the viewpoints of the questioner" That being said I know not all of you view the story of Adam in Geneses and his fall into sin from the same Biblical prospective, there are several camps as to interpatation etc. But what I hope we can all agree on as Christians in that it was the fall of Man[Adam means man in Hebrew] that brought about the need for Jesus Christ to come in the form of a man and go to His death on the cross and in that  He died for and UNTO sin and the whole principal of sin for all the World. This was all necessary because a perfectly righteous God could not except the Adams of the world [all humans] into His presence[eternal life] and since turning away from God we humans [Adam] found ourselves imperfect , sinners no longer innocent , but guilty of going our own way by our own choice. Simply put a perfect God could not allow us in this condition to enter into a personal relationship with Him as then He would also be imperfect, which is impossible.The place mankind found themselves was alone and in spiritual death Oh they , Adam, I'm sure still believed in God but now in his conscious mind he becomes self centered and worldly going his own way just like us, not in the former Garden experience of direct fellowship with the Lord in a Innocent and free and open way, Which for Adam would result in spiritual death and as Adam the first is our representative man [the human race] we by association made in his[ Adams] likeness, found our selves in death , out of direct personal  fellowship with God, The sentence was pronounced, not by God, but by Adam brought upon himself by his volitional actions.Then came Gods plan of redemption , which we all know, as He scarified Himself in the form of Adam as a subsititute for us Adams. Of course no ordinary man could be that substitute hence the need for a NEW ADAM to represent the human race and die the physical and spiritual death for us in His perfection as the incarnate Son of God. I could go on but you get the idea and I'm sure new much of this.A wise man once said you cannot know the NEW ADAM until you know the old" Rom. 5:12 and death not only came into the world and the race but it reigned as king". As way of closing I just want to review who we are in the old Adam..........positioned in sin with a nature of sin, and having many personal sins. The good news comes next time as we will find ourselves at the end of the history of this old man and by the Cross find ourselves in the New Man our new identification in Christ  Hold fast my friends all is not lost much joy awaits in the second Adam.

ON THE WAY

    This is not my first attempt at a blog,but I am not an experienced blogger.My goal is to establish a site where Christians can lean who and what they are in Christ as taught in the Bible. My background is one of having been a believer for around 36 years. And in that time I struggled with life as we all do with many ups and downs. A couple of years ago I found myself a newly retired senior ,home alone and in shock after 40 years of ruining my own Barber shop. No longer the boss, owner or needed by my many clients for their hair care, in other words a nobody. Also due to acquired poor life choices I was the unhappy barrier of a unhealthy mental attitude as well as substance use issues. Still a Christian in my mind , but a failed one. Then one day about 2 years ago I awoke one morning feeling particularly low and found myself on my knees crying out to God; My prayer was as follows , "God I pray that you take me from this world as I cannot live up to what I have become in my life as Christian and if this is all that I will ever be please take me from this world. But if you choose to leave me here please show me what I can be . I would rather die than live like this, I need you to change my life and show me a new way , Amen". Well what do you know within a few days I found myself with a new outlook and begin to have a desire to search the Word as well as study a book I had, called THE COMPLETE GREEN LETTERS...........The subject matter was finding our identification in Christ. Also I found a book on Romans by William R. Newell.The Bible and these two books were then carried on a road trip of long duration. After much study and prayer I was driving on the open road between here and Canada and I asked the Lord, how God can I do, or live these thing I'm learning. A answer came like a bolt of lighting , as they say, You will do nothing I will do it all. Since that day He has, and now in the following weeks I hope to interest you as to what and how he took a sorry defeated worldly Christian sinner and showed him a entire new life. Hope you ll hang in there with me the road is very exciting and there is awaiting you a great reward I promise along the way.
